Tallinn harbour in the beginning of the 90's. We had just arrived with a ferry from Helsinki. Three men in a
moving bus.
On the other side of us were Estonia soldiers with machine guns, A Russian military Jeep were drowning towards a gate. The driver was signaling, and the gate opened, and the Jeep disappeared behind the gate.
Then, a civil clothed man was yelling at us: "Get out of the car!"
Our driver instantly jumped out of the car with our paper. It was obviously that we were not welcome here. I believe that the yelling man was a KGB officer.
That was the first impression I had of the Baltic countries.
